According to law enforcement reports, Rajan, known by the alias Bhola, is a notorious figure with a long rap sheet involving 46 incidents of theft, snatching, robbery, and violations of the Arms Act. The coordinated raids were part of a larger operation to crack down on street crimes in the district.
Police investigations led to the recovery of crucial evidence, including a firearm, stolen cash amounting to Rs 15,000, and several vehicles connected to the incidents. The arrests not only curtailed the criminal activities of this group but also unraveled five pending snatching cases.
