The eagerly anticipated results of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) general elections will be declared this Friday, with the vote counting process starting at 8:00 AM. Authorities have left no stone unturned in their preparations for a seamless and impartial counting operation.

Vishal Kumar, the West Tripura District Election Officer, announced sweeping measures in place for the entire process, including both the procedures for counting votes and the extensive security arrangements. Kumar, reporting from the 13-Simna Tamakari DC Constituency at Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya in Mohanpur Sub-Division, reassured that the administration is fully primed for the task.

On Thursday, Kumar carried out inspections across multiple counting centers in Mohanpur and Jirania subdivisions, verifying final arrangements. A robust three-tier security protocol envelops all counting hubs, reinforced by central paramilitary forces, the Tripura State Rifles, and local police units. Additional CCTV monitoring, supervised by the Election Commission, is in place to thwart any disruptions. Concurrently, the by-election count for the 56-Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency will also ensue in North Tripura.
