AIMIM Bihar President Akhtarul Iman has spoken out about his party's decision to end alliances based on public perception and ground reports. Iman highlighted the party’s earlier collaboration with Humayun Kabir's party, initiated when public support seemed favorable, but later dissolved due to unsatisfactory reports and communal concerns.

In a recent development, a 'sting video' allegedly showing AJUP chief Humayun Kabir discussing a Rs 1,000 crore deal has surfaced, raising integrity concerns within the Muslim community, according to AIMIM. AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the alliance’s withdrawal and questioned TMC's political motives, accusing Mamata Banerjee of misleading Muslim voters and aligning with the BJP.

Simultaneously, AIMIM leader Akhtarul Iman accused the Election Commission of partiality, suggesting it was acting as the BJP's 'agent.' He claimed that 91 lakh voters, predominantly Muslim minorities, have been removed from electoral rolls, deeming it a strategic move by the BJP to dominate Bengal. These accusations come as Bengal prepares for its 294-member assembly elections happening in two phases, concluding on May 4.
