On Tuesday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu embarked on a significant one-day tour of the Solan assembly constituency, inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for five pivotal development projects valued at Rs 27.43 crore.

Among the top initiatives, the Chief Minister unveiled the newly constructed Industrial Training Institute in Sayri, built for Rs 8.50 crore, and the Forest Rest House at Serighat, which came at a cost of Rs 59 lakh. Sukhu also inaugurated the Primary Health Centre at Basheel situated in the Mamligh gram panchayat.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister laid groundwork for the Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day Boarding School, valued at Rs 16.34 crore, and a Solar Power Plant in Mamligh, estimated at Rs 2 crore. A day prior, CM Sukhu had released the 'Himachal Pradesh Human Development Report 2025', a collaboration between the state and UNDP to assess progress with an independent approach.
