The Haryana government is gearing up for grand celebrations of Haryana's statehood from November 1 to 3 in Panchkula. The event marks the day Haryana became a separate state in 1966, with numerous festivities designed to showcase its rich cultural heritage.
Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh will inaugurate the celebrations, accompanied by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Over the course of three days, students from various colleges will participate in a series of events, and top performers will be rewarded with cash prizes.
The highlight of the celebration is a heritage exhibition that will display Haryana's traditional culture, including attire, agricultural tools, and folk art. Attendees will enjoy traditional Haryanvi cuisine, and music from folk instruments will envelop the venue with cultural melodies. Invitations have been extended to all political figures, reflecting a vibrant community engagement.
