The Congress party has taken a significant step in enforcing discipline within its Haryana unit by announcing the formation of a new disciplinary committee. Headed by seasoned leader Dharampal Malik, the committee was authorized by party president Mallikarjun Kharge and aims to promote accountability in the organization's activities.
The committee, which includes members Akram Khan, Kailasho Saini, Anil Dhantori, and Rohit Jain, comes into effect promptly following its approval. This development follows the appointments of Rao Narender Singh as the Haryana unit chief and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda as the CLP leader.
The announcement aligns with earlier statements from Congress general secretary B K Hariprasad, who had indicated that a committee would be formed to maintain discipline within the state's party affairs. The decision is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the internal governance of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee.
