The Kerala government has established a judicial probe into a deadly explosion at a fireworks manufacturing unit in Thrissur, appointing former High Court judge Justice C N Ramachandran Nair as the head.
Justice Nair emphasized that the intention isn't to ban firecrackers but to examine possible changes to their patterns to enhance safety. His remarks come after a cabinet decision, following the incident suspected to have claimed 14 lives.
