In a major push to Odisha's childcare infrastructure, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida inaugurated 1,889 anganwadi centres virtually. Spanning 30 districts, this initiative promises to improve health and nutrition in the region.

Parida, who oversees the Women & Child Development, Mission Shakti, and Tourism departments, lauded the move as a significant step towards empowering the grassroots level. She articulated the mission to establish 'beautiful', 'efficient', and 'strong' anganwadi centres throughout the state.

Additionally, Parida engaged with district officials from Balasore, Ganjam, Cuttack, Angul, and Deogarh to evaluate the ongoing progress and success of these vital centres' infrastructure projects.
