A female havildar with the Odisha police in Angul district has accused two officers of workplace harassment, leading to an investigation, a police officer confirmed Thursday.
Following the harassment complaint, the havildar submitted her resignation, though it has not yet been accepted. Angul's Superintendent of Police, Rahul Jain, emphasized the involvement of an internal complaints committee, as well as a separate investigation by a senior female DSP.
The havildar stated that ongoing mental harassment by two senior officers compelled her to consider resignation. Residing in Angul town with her daughter, she noted, 'My life has been miserable due to the actions of these senior officers.'
