The incident unfolded at 11:30 am in Bismillah Chawl. Nair engaged in a heated argument with the victims, identified as Abdul Hasan Sheikh, Akbar Abdul Sheikh, and Sameer Ahmed Sheikh. The quarrel escalated, prompting Nair to open fire, leaving the victims injured.
Police arrested Nair and recovered the weapon involved. Authorities have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including murder. Investigations are ongoing to trace the firearm's origin and clarify the sequence of events.
