The Bokaro police recently dealt a substantial blow to the criminal operations of the notorious Prince Khan, arresting seven of his associates and injuring one suspect during a confrontation. Khan is suspected to be hiding abroad, possibly in Dubai and Pakistan, while his gang attempted to establish a terror network in the city.

The confrontation occurred following intelligence received by the police from within Khan's organization, leading them to a cache of hidden weapons in the Tandbali Deeh hills. According to Superintendent Harvinder Singh, the situation escalated when an arrested criminal, identified as Prince Gupta alias Prince Bhatia, attempted to flee using one of the recovered weapons. The police, fortunately, sustained no injuries, and a retaliatory shot injured Gupta, who is recovering in stable condition.

Prince Khan's gang has been linked to extortion attempts targeting Bokaro's industrialists, fostering fear to tighten their grip on the city. A viral video of Khan threatening a steel company's project director highlighted their ruthless tactics. The operation, conducted at dawn, has set back Khan's plans to expand his network from afar and reasserted the police's determination to thwart gang dominance in Bokaro.
