On the other side, the White House has defended the deployment of additional U.S. troops in West Asia, which enhances President Donald Trump's options in the conflict. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt remarked that these deployments provide 'maximum optionality' and maintained that while ground operations have not been ruled out, they remain in the realm of strategic planning.
