A refusal to provide liquor during a wedding in Gwalior's Patai village resulted in a violent conflict, according to local law enforcement. The altercation involved the bride, groom, and their family members, leaving several injured.
CSP Manish Yadav reported that the dispute arose after neighbors of the groom demanded alcohol during the celebrations. When this request was denied, tensions flared, leading to physical assaults and reports of theft of household items and money.
The incident is currently under investigation, with the groom's mother, Sheela, claiming family members were attacked after they refused to pay for liquor. The bride and other relatives reportedly suffered injuries in the ensuing chaos.
