The initiative, announced by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, provides Rs 50,000 to those clearing preliminary exams and Rs 1 lakh for mains qualifiers. It aims to enhance Meghalaya's representation in civil services.
Applicants can apply for assistance through the Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute, ensuring financial constraints don't hinder qualified candidates.
