In a tragic incident, a father and his daughter lost their lives in Jaipur on Tuesday after a private bus carrying laborers came into contact with a high-tension power line, igniting a fierce fire.
The bus, traveling from Pilibhit to a brick kiln in Manoharpur, carried more than 50 laborers. The fire was intensified by household items and gas cylinders stored on the bus, leading to the death of Naseem and his daughter, Senam, while injuring ten others.
Authorities stated that two laborers had exited the bus to aid in navigating under the wires, but items on the bus roof touched the live electrical line, causing the fire. This recent tragedy highlights the dire need for increased safety measures in transportation of laborers.
