The Delhi Police recently apprehended 59-year-old Mohammad Adil Hussaini for his suspected role in espionage and a fake passport operation with international ties. The arrest reveals a network allegedly run from Jamshedpur, where false identification documents were produced using counterfeit materials, officials disclosed.

Adil, using multiple aliases including Syed Adil Hussain and Nasimuddin, was detained in Delhi. Authorities claim he had communication with a foreign-based nuclear scientist, had traveled widely, and procured sensitive ID cards through deceitful means.

Additional Commissioner Pramod Singh Kushwah noted that both Adil and his brother were implicated in distributing sensitive data abroad and acquiring multiple passports fraudulently. Police seized several original and forged passports from Adil, who is now under a seven-day police custody for further questioning.
