The accused, hailing from Rohtak, Haryana, was arrested shortly after opening fire on officers who had set up an ambush based on intelligence from the Special Staff of Dwarka.
Authorities revealed that Vikas was expected to arrive at the Mangespur Drain Patri near Dichaun-Hirankudana Road on a scooty, armed with an illegal weapon, and intending to commit a crime.
