Tragic Highway Collision Claims Three Lives in Pilibhit
A tragic accident involving a mini-truck crushed between two trucks on a highway in Pilibhit resulted in the deaths of three individuals from Shahjahanpur. The accident led to the complete shattering of the mini-truck and injured another truck driver. Police have sent the bodies for post-mortem examinations.

In a tragic incident late Tuesday night, three individuals were killed when their mini-truck was crushed between two trucks on a highway in Pilibhit district. The deceased were identified as Guruchan Singh, Pankaj Kumar, and Rajendra Kumar, all hailing from Shahjahanpur district, said Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav.
The accident occurred near Adarsh Kisan Inter College, where the mini-truck lost control after being hit from behind by a speeding truck, leading to it overturning. A second truck, unable to stop in time, collided with the overturned vehicle, devastating the mini-truck's front portion and leading to the instant death of its occupants.
Gajraula station in-charge Brajveer Singh revealed that the mini-truck was transporting tent materials from Bagda to Pilibhit. Following the incident, police utilized a crane to clear the debris and resume traffic flow. The injured driver of the second truck is receiving treatment at the District Medical College in Pilibhit, while the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations.
