In Jharkhand's Palamu district, a head-on collision between two motorcycles resulted in the deaths of a 21-year-old man and his elder sister. A couple traveling on the other motorcycle suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized. The accident occurred near Kamal Kedia village on Monday.

A tragic motorcycle collision claimed the lives of two siblings, a 21-year-old man and his elder sister, in Jharkhand's Palamu district, authorities reported on Tuesday.
The accident, which injured another couple, occurred late Monday near Kamal Kedia village, within the Lesliganj police jurisdiction. The siblings, identified as Saraswati Devi (27) and Hement Kumar (21), were from Medininagar and Sons village, respectively.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer Manoj Kumar Jha disclosed that the siblings' bike was heading towards Lesliganj while the couple's motorcycle approached from the opposite direction, leading to the collision. The injured couple is currently receiving treatment at Medinirai Medical College and Hospital.
