Motorcycle Heist: The Tale of an Actor-Turned-Thief

Mumbai police have captured a notorious motorcycle thief, who also moonlighted as a small-time actor, in the Malvani area of the city.

The suspect, Sunil Subhash Chaudhari, aged 29, was detained by a team from the Bangurnagar police station. Originally from Muktainagar in Jalgaon district, Chaudhari has been linked to 14 bike thefts reported since 2022 in various Mumbai localities, including Vile Parle, Versova, Aarey, Mulund, and Amboli.

Authorities have recovered two Bullet motorcycles linked to his thefts and successfully resolved cases in Bangurnagar and Ghatkopar. The arrests signal a breakthrough in Mumbai's ongoing battle against crime.
