In a tragic incident, five individuals, including four minors, drowned while taking a bath in a pond in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district on Tuesday. Authorities have confirmed that the group included a 20-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy.
The victims belonged to Sahpur panchayat in the Katkamsandi area, and two of them were sisters. The distressing event has prompted sorrow and concern among local residents who frequent the area for recreational activities.
The bodies have been transported to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital where post-mortem examinations will be conducted. The deceased have been identified, though the name of the youngest victim is yet to be revealed, according to police reports.
