NAVER Corp, a prominent South Korean tech firm, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's top IT company, have formalized a partnership to collaborate in map services through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This MoU was part of 16 agreements forged at the recent India-Korea Business Forum, aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation. NAVER, known for its diverse portfolio that includes South Korea's foremost search portal, AI, cloud computing, and more, seeks to extend its foothold in various tech realms. This collaboration marks the company's strategic entry into India's mapping services market, combining its technological advancements with TCS's robust presence.
The alliance between NAVER, represented by CEO Choi Soo Yeon, and TCS, represented by India market President Ujjwal Mathur, aims to foster significant innovation in map services, though immediate responses from TCS regarding further details were unavailable.
