Formula One sensation Kimi Antonelli has been making waves in his second season. At just 19, Antonelli currently tops the leaderboard, narrowly edging out his Mercedes teammate, George Russell, by nine points. His impressive journey includes victories in two out of the season's three races.
After a successful run in Japan last March, Antonelli is eager to return to the track and build upon his momentum. Speaking exclusively to reporters, the young driver expressed confidence in his growth and stressed the importance of maximizing every opportunity behind the wheel as he prepares for the Miami race where he achieved notable success last year.
Antonelli is the first Italian to clinch consecutive victories since Alberto Ascari in 1953. He noted how last year's experience is fueling his current performance, offering him better control and understanding of race dynamics. Meanwhile, he's been maintaining peak condition during the racing hiatus by engaging in simulator practice and driving alternative vehicles.
