In the men’s 50kg category, Vishvanath Suresh outclassed Kyrgyzstan’s Bekzat Ergeshov, achieving a unanimous 5-0 victory. His sharp technique and ring control were lauded in an official press statement.
Vishvanath's next challenge will be against Kazakhstan's Sanzhar Tashkenbay, the reigning World Champion, setting the stage for a much-awaited showdown. Meanwhile, Sachin, competing in the men’s 60kg division, demonstrated poise and skill to edge out Mongolia's Buyandalai Bayarkhuu with a 4-1 split decision.
