Indian golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar made an impressive start at the $2 million International Series Philippines, securing a tied-seventh finish with a remarkable 5-under 67. Bhullar, a notable winner on the Asian Tour, demonstrated excellent form, recording six birdies and just one bogey.

Starting on the back nine, Bhullar delivered five birdies from holes 12 through 18 before carding his only bogey on the third hole. He wrapped up his round with a final birdie on the ninth hole, placing him in a competitive spot on the leaderboard.

In contrast, other Indian players faced challenges, with Ajeetesh Sandhu and Karandeep Kochhar at T-35, SSP Chawrasia at T-108, and Rayhan Thomas at T-137. The tournament saw Sarit Suwannarut from Thailand lead the field with an eight-under-par 64, while former world No. 1 Dustin Johnson also showcased his talent, finishing alongside Bhullar with a 67.
