President Murmu Invited to Historical Commemoration at Anandpur Sahib

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended an official invitation to President Droupadi Murmu to participate in next month's historic events marking the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur at Anandpur Sahib.
During their meeting, Mann expressed hopes that President Murmu would grace the auspicious occasion. The state government has outlined a series of events, including light-and-sound shows, Kirtan Darbars, and Nagar Kirtans, designed to honor the Guru’s legacy across Punjab.
The main event at Anandpur Sahib is poised to include an interfaith conference, exhibitions, and a special session of the Punjab Assembly, where prominent figures will reflect on Guru Tegh Bahadur’s life and sacrifices. The initiatives aim to celebrate and illuminate the peace-promoting philosophies of the Guru.
