Operation NARCOS: Ganja Seized at Gadag Railway and Kempegowda Airport
During a special operation at Gadag railway station, two individuals were apprehended with 6.4 kg of ganja. The substances were seized and the suspects handed over to the excise department. Meanwhile, 2.2 kg of hydroponic ganja was confiscated at Kempegowda Airport, further investigations are ongoing.

In a significant operation, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) apprehended two individuals at Gadag railway station for possessing 6.4 kg of ganja, valued at approximately Rs 6.46 lakh. The arrests, made during a special drive under 'operation NARCOS', highlight the ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking.
Upon questioning, the suspects, residents of Dharwad district, were found with two bundles of suspected ganja wrapped in grey and brown tape. The excise department was promptly notified, leading to the confiscation of the contraband after completing necessary legal processes.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru Customs officials intercepted a passenger from Bangkok at Kempegowda International Airport. Concealed compartments in his luggage housed 2.2 kg of hydroponic ganja, which was seized as investigations continue to track its source and intended destination.
