Narcotics Bust at Delhi Airport: Passenger Arrested with Rs 2.49 Crore Ganja

Authorities at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport have arrested a man discovered with narcotics valued at Rs 2.49 crore. The passenger arrived from Bangkok at the beginning of the week.
Customs officials intercepted the individual after suspicions arose. A thorough examination led to the discovery of six polythene pouches in a brown trolley bag, which contained a green substance suspected to be ganja or marijuana, weighing approximately 2,495.5 grams.
After conducting a diagnostic test, the contents were confirmed as ganja or marijuana. The man was subsequently taken into custody, highlighting continued efforts to curb drug smuggling into the country.
