Mega Narcotic Bust: Customs Catch Rs 7 Crore Worth of Ganja at IGI Airport
Two Indian male passengers were apprehended at IGI Airport after customs seized over Rs 7 crore worth of suspected ganja, identified during an X-ray scan of their luggage following their arrival from Bangkok. The contraband, weighing 7,213 grams, led to their arrest.

In a significant narcotics seizure at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, customs officials intercepted two Indian passengers carrying contraband valued at over Rs 7 crore. The duo arrived from Bangkok, Thailand, and were nabbed on Monday.
The customs department reported that an X-ray examination of the men's belongings led to the discovery of a grey-blue trolley bag containing four polythene pouches filled with a green substance, initially suspected to be ganja.
Upon further testing, the substance, weighing 7,213 grams, was confirmed to be marijuana, culminating in the arrest of both individuals. The customs department confirmed the valuation of the seized narcotics at approximately Rs 7.21 crore.
