In a strategic move to fortify their attack, Punjab FC has announced the signing of Spanish attacking midfielder Dani Ramirez Fernandez. The 33-year-old joins as the club's second overseas acquisition of the season, following Samir Zeljkovic, and arrives on a one-year contract on a free transfer from Manisa FK in Turkey's TFF First League.

Dani Ramirez, a seasoned campaigner born in Leganes, Spain, began his football career with CD Leganes before honing his skills at Real Madrid, featuring prominently in their youth setups. His career trajectory also includes stints at Valencia CF B, Getafe CF, and Internacional de Madrid, prior to his international move to Poland in 2017.

Having played for LKS Lodz and Lech Poznan, where he clinched the Ekstraklasa title in the 2021-22 season, Ramirez later experienced Belgium's competitive football landscape with Zulte Waregem. His recent tenure with Manisa FK saw him making significant contributions with seven goals and four assists in 34 matches. Now at Punjab FC, Ramirez is expected to be a pivotal figure in their quest for silverware in the upcoming AIFF Super Cup 2025.
