Punjab FC has announced a significant addition to their lineup, securing Spanish attacking midfielder Dani Ramírez Fernandez in time for the Super Cup kick-off in Goa. This strategic move marks the club's second international signing of the season, following the recruitment of Samir Zeljkovic.
Ramírez, 33, arrives on a one-year contract via a free transfer following his tenure with Manisa FK in Turkey's TFF First League. Known for his versatility and creative playmaking, he expressed enthusiasm about contributing to Punjab FC's ambitions.
His extensive career includes notable performances in Spain's lower leagues, moving to Poland to compete with clubs like ŁKS Łodz and achieving championship success with Lech Poznan. Most recently, Ramírez showcased his skills in 34 appearances for Manisa FK last season, tallying seven goals and four assists.
