Punjab FC Signs Veteran Brazilian Defender Pablo Renan Dos Santos

Punjab FC has announced the signing of seasoned Brazilian center-back Pablo Renan Dos Santos on a one-year contract as they gear up for the Super Cup in Goa. The 33-year-old defender joins the club on a free transfer, bringing a wealth of experience from his international career.

Pablo began his European journey in 2017, joining Portuguese Primeira Liga side CS Maritimo, where his performances earned him a five-year deal with SC Braga. During his time at Braga, he was loaned to clubs in Russia, Turkey, and Portugal, amassing valuable experience at the highest levels.

After stints in the Middle East with Al Raed in the Saudi Pro League and a recently impressive run with FC Noah in Armenia, where he scored four goals in 13 appearances, Pablo expressed his commitment to Punjab FC. The club's Technical Director, Nikolaos Topoliatis, praised Pablo's defensive leadership and experience as crucial additions to their team strategy.
