The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) and Imperial College London have inked a milestone MoU, launching the Indo-UK Life Sciences Innovation Corridor to strengthen the bond between India and the UK in the life sciences sector.
Formalized in Bengaluru this week, the corridor aims to bridge the geographic and intellectual gap by fostering cross-border collaboration. This initiative will serve as a conduit for researchers, innovators, and start-ups to exchange knowledge and accelerate technology deployment, leveraging the unique capabilities of both nations' ecosystems.
Imperial College London's President, Professor Hugh Brady, highlighted the initiative's potential for addressing global challenges through joint fundraising and partnership pathways. The collaboration is part of a broader strategy to provide robust support for academic and industrial partnerships and nurture a mutual flow of STEMB talent between the two countries.
