Weather conditions in Odisha are anticipated to be stormy over the next four days, with light rain and thunderstorms due to two successive low-pressure systems, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.
A well-defined low-pressure area persists off the Tamil Nadu coast, predicted to develop into a depression and move northwest, impacting north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and south Andhra Pradesh within the next 24 hours, stated Manorama Mohanty, Director of IMD Bhubaneswar.
In response, the Agriculture Department has issued a farmer advisory, ensuring this year's full rainfall and expected good crop yield, while cautioning against panic over potential cyclonic misinformation.
