During a strategic meeting in Delhi, Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud called on party leader Rahul Gandhi to advocate for the inclusion of a reservation for Backward Classes within the women's quota.
Goud highlighted the importance of convening a meeting of the AICC OBC Advisory Council to discuss the matter further. Sources confirm that Gandhi was receptive to the suggestion.
Additionally, Goud updated Gandhi on the state's recent caste survey results, welfare initiatives, and leadership appointments within the party.
