Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce attack on the AIADMK on Saturday, alleging it operates as a mere facade for the BJP in Tamil Nadu. Addressing an election rally, Gandhi accused the AIADMK leadership of being compromised due to corruption, serving as an instrument for the BJP and RSS to infiltrate Tamil Nadu politics.
Gandhi asserted that the BJP is determined to replace Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin with a puppet leader who will cater to the whims of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He claimed that the AIADMK, once a prominent party in Tamil Nadu, now betrays its historical roots by aligning with the BJP's agenda.
Despite these challenges, Gandhi emphasized his enduring relationship with Tamil Nadu and pledged to resist BJP's attempts to erode Tamil culture and social justice. He underscored the importance of unity in countering the BJP's influence and vowed to serve as a staunch advocate for Tamil Nadu's interests in Delhi.
