During rallies in West Bengal, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made strong accusations against Mamata Banerjee's government. Sarma alleged that the West Bengal government is diverting resources to 'Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators' for electoral gains, a move he claims threatens the state's integrity.
The BJP leader emphasized his party's commitment to curbing infiltration, highlighting efforts in Assam and Tripura. Sarma promised a similar approach in Bengal should the BJP win power, pledging to block borders and ensure development, including bringing major institutions to North Bengal.
Sarma's rhetoric took a sharp turn, challenging the construction of new religious structures by certain groups. Despite criticisms, he insisted the BJP would take decisive action against illegal activities once in power, contrasting their governance style with that of the TMC.
