In a scathing critique, Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagenthran has targeted Chief Minister M K Stalin for his unyielding opposition to the central government's initiatives. Nagenthran alleges that Stalin's resistance is driven by a fear of losing the upcoming elections on April 23.

Nagenthran declared that in the past five years, CM Stalin has failed to offer any beneficial schemes for the public, focusing solely on personal and familial gains. The statements come as Prime Minister Modi prepares to address a major gathering in Coimbatore on April 18, with Home Minister Amit Shah scheduled for a roadshow in Modakkurichi on April 19.

Addressing national legislative issues, Nagenthran defended the Women's Reservation Bill, denying accusations of it being rushed. He stated that the bill's deliberation has been ongoing for over a decade, reflecting the population growth since India's independence. He also refuted claims about the withholding of education loan funds and GST arrears, blaming the state government for inadequate financial accountability.
