Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala has fiercely criticized the BJP following comments made by Pratap Simha, a former Mysuru-Kodagu MP, against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during a bypoll campaign in Bagalkote. The remarks have sparked a political controversy ahead of the April 9 by-elections.
Surjewala condemned Simha's comments, claiming they expose the BJP's political tactics aimed at marginalized communities. In a social media statement, he accused the BJP of orchestrating such outbursts as part of their political culture. He highlighted past threats against Siddaramaiah and pointed to contradictions within BJP's campaign strategies.
