In Gujarat, Aam Aadmi Party's state chief Isudan Gadhvi, along with 30 others, has been charged following an alleged riot at Khambhalia police station. The incident occurred during a protest against the arrest of an AAP worker for a chain-snatching case.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Vismay Manseta stated that the protesters, including Gadhvi, verbally assaulted the police and threatened suspensions. An FIR has been lodged against them for charges including obstruction of a public servant and unlawful assembly.
AAP MLA Gopal Italia, via social media, urged the public to support Gadhvi, hinting at a pattern of AAP leader arrests being politically motivated amid BJP's governance in Gujarat.
