Senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched a blistering critique of Kerala's ruling LDF government during recent public meetings. He accused the administration of betraying Lord Ayyappa in the Sabarimala gold loss scandal, drawing parallels with Judas' betrayal of Jesus.
Singh asserted that God isn't safe in Kerala, known as 'God's own country,' due to the LDF's alleged misuse of gold from the Sabarimala shrine. He promised a time-bound CBI inquiry under BJP rule. The BJP leader accused the LDF and UDF of corruption, societal division, and failed promises.
Highlighting central government funding and unfulfilled state projects, Singh described the ruling coalitions as fronts of 'corruption and failure,' claiming that only the BJP offers a credible alternative. Kerala's assembly elections are scheduled for April 9.
