Fathima Farhana, a prominent leader within the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), has voiced her criticism of the conventional welfare pledges made by key political factions in Tamil Nadu ahead of the impending assembly elections. She emphasized that so-called 'freebies' should guarantee a sustainable livelihood for citizens, rather than temporary concessions.
According to Farhana, NTK prioritizes genuine improvements such as quality education and accessible healthcare, which should meet international standards, over the nominal cash perks offered by other parties. "We need a transformation from the current political offerings. Quality education and healthcare are the real 'freebies' Tamil Nadu deserves," she articulated.
The NTK manifesto, introduced in Chennai, highlights a governance strategy steeped in Tamil identity and ecological balance. NTK chief Seeman reiterated the party's steadfast commitment to its enduring goals for the state, aiming for a significant governance overhaul rather than just a change in leadership.
