AIADMK Steers Smooth Seat-Sharing Talks Ahead of Tamil Nadu Elections

The AIADMK is set to finalize seat-sharing arrangements with the BJP and other NDA constituents for the upcoming April 23 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. Party General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that the constituencies will be revealed in four days, focusing on areas with strong winning prospects for their allies.
Palaniswami met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, discussing the political landscape in Tamil Nadu. He dismissed media speculation regarding talks with Vijay-led TVK, stating no discussions had taken place. Further, he downplayed AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP C Ve Shanmugam's recent controversial remarks, citing an apology.
The former Chief Minister also highlighted his party’s election promises and criticized the DMK government for its alleged corruption and lack of development initiatives. Meanwhile, T T V Dhinakaran of AIADMK’s ally AMMK criticized Chief Minister M K Stalin’s remarks on Palaniswami's Delhi visit, underscoring the NDA-DMK electoral contest.
