Congress MP Jairam Ramesh launched an indirect critique of Prime Minister Narendra Modi concerning the AI Impact Summit, accusing the "self-declared Vishwaguru" of being preoccupied with giving the world "gyaan through acronyms." Ramesh also reacted to the recent meeting between Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US President Donald Trump, reflecting on persistent US-Pakistan ties.

Ramesh alleged that Pakistan has evaded global repercussions for its involvement in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, describing it as a "depressing commentary" on Modi's diplomatic efforts. He noted that despite such developments, Modi continues to project himself internationally through slogans and acronyms, compelling corporate leaders to show their allegiance.

The India AI Impact Summit, a pioneering global gathering in the Global South, underscores AI's transformative potential in harmony with India's vision and global cooperative ideals. Meanwhile, President Trump reiterated his controversial claim of averting the 2024 India-Pakistan conflict by threatening massive tariffs, a narrative he repeats amidst escalating tensions.
