Bomb Threat Shakes Rajasthan High Court Ahead of CJI's Visit

The Rajasthan High Court was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat on Friday, just hours before the Chief Justice of India, Surya Kant, was due to visit the city. The threat, sent via email, warranted immediate police intervention, though no suspicious items were uncovered during the thorough search.

According to officials, the threat led to a delay in court proceedings as senior police officers combed the premises for any potential danger. This follows a similar threat received on Thursday, heightening security measures ahead of the significant visit by the Chief Justice.

Chief Justice Surya Kant is expected to inaugurate a seminar at the Rajasthan International Centre. Despite the threats, authorities are maintaining the planned engagements with increased vigilance and precautionary measures to ensure safety during the event.
