In the political battleground of Bihar, Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha voiced strong opposition to the Mahagathbandhan's recently released manifesto, titled 'Bihar ka Tejashwi Prann.' Jha cited the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s previous governance as a period marked by rampant lawlessness and violence, raising concerns about the promises made by the alliance.
Conversely, Congress leader Pawan Khera portrayed the manifesto as 'historic,' underscoring its creation after extensive public consultation. Promising a job for one family member in every household and financial aid to women, Khera assured that the manifesto's pledges are realistic and achievable, with Tejashwi Yadav set to be the alliance’s Chief Ministerial candidate.
Meanwhile, the BJP accused the Mahagathbandhan's manifesto of being filled with 'lies,' specifically targeting its flagship program 'Mai-Behin Maan Yojana'. BJP leader Rituraj Sinha criticized Tejashwi Yadav's credentials, questioning his readiness for leadership as Bihar prepares for elections in November.
