Union Minister Chirag Paswan launched a scathing attack on the Mahagathbandhan's manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, accusing them of making empty promises. He singled out Tejashwi Yadav, alleging that the opposition leader is misleading voters by promising one government job per family, a pledge Paswan deemed 'impossible' to fulfill.
The Mahagathbandhan, spearheaded by the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress, unveiled their ambitious manifesto entitled 'Bihar Ka Tejashwi Pran.' Key pledges include providing government employment to one member per family shortly after assuming power, financial support for women, and enhancing reservations for various social groups.
The manifesto also promises to reinstate the Old Pension Scheme, address issues surrounding the Waqf Act, and increase reservations for the Most Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes. With voting set for November 6 and 11, Bihar's political scene is heating up as parties jockey for control of the 243-seat assembly.
