The political atmosphere in Bihar intensifies as Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya confidently predicted Nitish Kumar’s return as Chief Minister in the forthcoming state elections. Maurya dismissed the opposition coalition, Mahagathbandhan, branding their assertions as 'fake'.
Janata Dal (United) leader Arun Kumar echoed similar optimism, asserting that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is poised to secure a dominating two-thirds majority. Emphasizing a preference for governance focused on positivity and development, Arun Kumar stressed the continuity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar's leadership.
However, dissenting views emerged from Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) National President Mukesh Sahni, who questioned Kumar’s suitability for the state's leadership citing health concerns. Sahni advocated for a wave of change, urging voters to consider younger politicians. As the contest between NDA and Mahagathbandhan heats up, Bihar is set for elections on November 6 and 11, with results expected on November 14.
