The Mahagathbandhan alliance, predominantly led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress, unveiled what they termed a 'historic' manifesto for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. Dubbed 'Bihar ka Tejashwi Prann,' the manifesto was crafted after extensive consultations with the state's citizens.
Central to their promises is legislation to ensure government jobs for one member from every family within 20 days of assuming power. Additionally, the 'Mai-Behin Maan Yojana' pledges Rs 2,500 monthly aid to women for five years, commencing December 1.
Congress leader Pawan Khera emphasized the manifesto's deliberate planning under the direction of senior party figures, assuring achievable commitments. Meanwhile, opposition to Tejashwi Yadav, the alliance's Chief Ministerial hopeful, by the NDA was dismissed as unfounded.
