Amid Bihar's political landscape, Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate Samrat Choudhary has demanded clarity from the Mahagathbandhan regarding the financial viability of their ambitious election promises. The alliance, led by RJD and Congress, recently unveiled a manifesto featuring a guarantee of government jobs for one member from every family in the state.

However, Choudhary urged voters to recall what he described as the 'anarchy' under Lalu Prasad Yadav's past regime. The Mahagathbandhan's agenda outlines plans, such as financial assistance for women and restoration of the Old Pension Scheme. Yet, skepticism remains over the sourcing of funds for these commitments.

As Bihar braces for its assembly elections, set in two phases on November 6 and 11, the opposition coalition faces stern scrutiny. The National Democratic Alliance, with candidates like Samrat Choudhary, emphasizes financial prudence, setting the stage for a contentious electoral showdown against their rivals' promises of sweeping reforms.
